Welcome to Ellie Lewis, glad you’re here. I started this site because I wanted to write about something I love talking about, doing, and never tire of learning. The choice was easy. It’s a relatively new site, but I think there are enough posts to warrant a guide. Also, you’ll get a sense of what’s coming soon! In no particular order, here’s how you can navigate the content on my site:

Tips from Famous Authors: From quotes and passages, to interviews with famous authors (past and current), here’s where you’ll find some wonderful, inspirational (and profound, at times!) tips about writing.

Books for Writers about Writing: This section is dedicated to writing books for writers. Here, I blog thoughts and take-aways chapter by chapter as I make my way through a book. Here are the links to books I’ve worked/am working through:

Music for Writing: Here you’ll find posts that contain links to favorite songs for writing, and the monthly “music wrap up” posts that list all songs I’ve been digging from that month.

NaNoWriMo: Here you’ll find posts about planning for, doing and reflecting on NaNoWriMo (November) and Camp NaNoWriMo (July).

Planning-Researching-Outling: Here you’ll find all posts that contain any element of planning a book, script, etc. Here are links to how I research my story, use notecards for outlining, and plot my story on the “W” storyboard.

Productivity: Here you’ll find posts about resources and tools for being productive, using time management and anything else that relates to getting the job done!

Where They Wrote: Author’s Writing Spaces: I’m a little obsessed with offices and writing spaces, so here you’ll find posts about the spaces where famous authors write/wrote.

Stay Tuned for Libraries of the World and LiSterati (lists related to writing).
